Switzerland's financial capital. Banking events, Alpine excursions, Swiss precision — on four wheels.
Zurich is small, rich, and spectacularly well-organised. With a population under 450,000, it punches far above its weight as a global financial centre — UBS, Credit Suisse (now part of UBS), Swiss Re, Zurich Insurance, and hundreds of private banks and asset managers are headquartered here. This means a constant flow of corporate events, private banking conferences, board retreats, and fintech summits — all requiring transport that matches Swiss standards of punctuality and discretion.
Messe Zürich in Oerlikon is the city's main exhibition venue. It's compact by German standards but hosts a busy calendar of industrial, consumer, and B2B events. The venue is north of the city centre, well-served by the A1 motorway but a 20-minute drive from the lakeside hotel district. For multi-day events with groups staying in the Altstadt or along the lake, daily shuttle services are the norm.
The real draw for many groups, though, is what surrounds Zurich. The Swiss Alps are only an hour or two south, and the day trip possibilities are extraordinary. Lucerne and Mount Pilatus (cogwheel railway to 2,132 metres) are the most popular — about an hour from Zurich, with stunning lake and mountain scenery the entire way. Jungfraujoch ("Top of Europe" at 3,454 metres) takes longer but is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen, Europe's largest waterfall, is only 45 minutes north.
Chinese, Japanese, and South Korean tour groups make up a significant portion of Zurich's group transport demand. The classic itinerary — Zurich to Lucerne to Interlaken to Geneva — is essentially a coach route through the Alps, and it requires vehicles that can handle mountain passes, tunnel approaches, and the specific logistics of Swiss motorway vignettes and coach parking at Alpine attractions.
Swiss pricing is higher than anywhere else in Europe. Fuel, tolls, driver wages, and vehicle costs all reflect Swiss living standards. But the quality is correspondingly high — clean, modern vehicles, drivers who are never late, and road infrastructure that makes German autobahns look neglected. Our Swiss partner operators are based near ZRH airport and in the Zurich Nord industrial area, giving them quick access to both the airport corridor and the Messe.

Zurich Airport is only 15–25 minutes from the city centre by coach, making it very convenient. To Messe Zürich it takes about 20 minutes. To Bahnhofstrasse or the lake promenade, around 20–25 minutes. Traffic on the A1/A51 can add time during rush hours, but overall ZRH is one of Europe's best-connected airports for group transfers.
Switzerland is premium-priced. A half-day minibus (up to 18 passengers) in Zurich starts around CHF 600–800 (€550–750). A full-size 55-seat coach for a full day ranges CHF 1,200–1,800 (€1,100–1,650). ZRH airport transfers are typically CHF 500–700. Swiss quality and road tolls (vignette) are included. We quote exact prices within 2 hours.
Yes. We service all events at Messe Zürich including Bauen & Modernisieren, Inauen-Schätti exhibitions, and various B2B conferences. The venue is in Oerlikon, well-connected by road but separate from the central hotel district. Hotel-to-Messe shuttles, ZRH airport–Messe direct transfers, and evening event transport are all standard services.
Absolutely. Popular group day trips from Zurich include Lucerne and Mount Pilatus (1 hour south), Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe" (2.5 hours via Interlaken), Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen (45 minutes north), and Lake Constance (1 hour northeast). The Lucerne/Pilatus combination is by far the most booked — the views are extraordinary and the route is comfortable by coach.
Zurich's city centre is compact and largely car-restricted. Coaches use designated drop-off points near Bürkliplatz (lakeside) and the National Museum (near Hauptbahnhof). For longer stops, coach parking is available at Carparkplatz Zürich near the Hardbrücke area. The Altstadt (old town) streets are too narrow for coaches — minibuses can get closer. Our drivers know all the routing.
Zurich is Europe's banking centre alongside London and Frankfurt. We regularly provide transport for events at the Kongresshaus, Dolder Grand Hotel, and the Baur au Lac. Private banking conferences, UBS and Credit Suisse corporate events, and fintech summits all require discreet, punctual group transport. Our Swiss partner operators understand the expectations.
For major trade fairs at Messe Zürich, 3–4 weeks is usually sufficient. For the Zurich Film Festival (September), Sechseläuten spring festival, or large corporate conferences, 4–6 weeks is recommended. The Swiss Alps day trip routes (especially Jungfraujoch) are very popular May–October — book 3 weeks ahead for peak season.
"We host an annual private banking conference in Zurich — 35 attendees, three days. Bus Booking arranged ZRH airport pickups, daily shuttles between the Baur au Lac and our Kongresshaus sessions, and a full-day Lucerne excursion with Pilatus railway tickets coordinated. Swiss-level precision from a Munich company. Impressive."
