Hotel-to-Messe, airport-to-venue, multi-day programmes. Every major European trade fair, covered.
Bus Booking started because of trade fairs. In 2014, Joe Andreas was working in trade fair logistics in Munich and kept watching the same problem repeat itself: exhibitors and delegates arriving from around the world, spread across hotels all over the city, all needing to be at Messe München by 8am — and having no reliable way to get there as a group.
Taxis are expensive and uncoordinated. Public transport works for individuals, not for 40 people with exhibit materials. Hotel shuttles (when they exist) run on their own schedule, not yours. The gap was obvious: someone needed to provide proper hotel-to-Messe shuttle programmes, designed specifically for trade fair groups, with the reliability and local knowledge that trade fairs demand.
That's what we built. Today, trade fair shuttles are still our bread and butter. We run multi-day programmes at every major European Messe: Munich (bauma, IAA, ISPO, Electronica), Frankfurt (Automechanika, Light+Building, Musikmesse), Cologne (Anuga, gamescom, FIBO), Düsseldorf (drupa, MEDICA, boot), Berlin (IFA, ITB), Barcelona (MWC, Alimentaria), Milan (Salone del Mobile, EICMA), and dozens more.
A typical programme looks like this: morning pickup route covering 3–5 hotels, timed to deliver the group to the Messe entrance gate by 08:30. The driver stays on standby or returns to the hotel loop for a second wave. Evening pickup from the Messe at 17:00 or 18:00, reverse hotel route. Repeat for 3–5 days. The devil is in the detail: which entrance gate, which hotel pickup sequence minimises total time, how traffic patterns shift between day 1 and day 3 of a big fair.

Milan, Italydrupa, MEDICA, boot, K, interpack. Rhine-side venue, 19 halls. North/South gate logistics.
Düsseldorf, GermanyMorning pickup, evening return. Multi-hotel routes optimised for traffic. Consistent driver and vehicle for the duration.

Multi-vehicle, multi-day programmes. Dedicated coordinator, detailed timetable, real-time adjustments.
We cover all major European trade fair venues: Messe München, Messe Frankfurt, Messe Berlin, Koelnmesse, Messe Düsseldorf, Hamburg Messe, Fiera Milano (Rho), Fira Barcelona, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, RAI Amsterdam, Brussels Expo, Messe Wien, Messe Zürich, and PVA Expo Praha. If there's a trade fair in Europe, we can get your group there.
A typical programme runs daily for the duration of the event (3–7 days). Morning pickups from 2–6 hotels, delivery to the Messe entrance by a set time, then a reverse route in the evening. We create a detailed timetable with pickup times, hotel sequence, and Messe gate assignments. Drivers stay on standby for schedule changes. Multi-vehicle programmes for larger groups can include staggered routes.
Yes — this is one of our most popular services. Groups flying in for a trade fair often need to go straight from the airport to the venue without checking into a hotel first. MUC to Messe München (30 min), FRA to Messe Frankfurt (15 min), BCN to Fira Barcelona (15 min). Luggage stays on the coach while you attend the fair, then we transfer to the hotel.
Pricing depends on the city, duration, number of hotels, and vehicle size. A typical 5-day programme with a 55-seat coach doing one hotel loop in Munich costs €3,500–5,000. A 3-day programme with a minibus in Frankfurt is €1,200–1,800. Airport-to-Messe single transfers start at €300. We provide full programme quotes within 2 hours.
For the largest events — bauma (Munich), IAA (Munich), Anuga (Cologne), MWC (Barcelona), Salone del Mobile (Milan) — book 6–8 weeks ahead. These events absorb the entire local coach fleet. For mid-size fairs (10,000–50,000 visitors), 3–4 weeks is usually sufficient. We always recommend booking as early as possible during peak trade fair season (March–June, September–November).
Yes. Every major Messe has specific coach entrance gates, drop-off zones, and parking areas that differ by hall. At Messe München, for example, the main coach drop-off is at the West entrance, but some halls are better accessed via the East gate. Our drivers work these venues regularly and know the gate assignments, security checkpoint timing, and the fastest routes from the nearest motorway exit.
"bauma in Munich — the world's largest trade fair. We bring 90 exhibitors, six hotels, five days. Bus Booking runs our entire shuttle programme: two 55-seaters on the main hotel loop, one minibus for the overflow hotel, and MUC airport transfers on setup and teardown days. They know Messe München's gate system better than we do. Seven bauma cycles with them now."
